Wedding Count Down:
64 more days!!!!
On Saturday Melissa, Laurie, Sean, and I are running a 5k in Fishers. Sean is a little nervous because he really hasn't ran much this summer due to the fact that he is always working. But I am sure he will do fine he always does. In fact the last time we ran a race and he hadn't ran in a long time he still out ran me. I am hoping running for me will go well due to the fact I am still in a lot of pain from my root canal. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that all of us do as well as we are hoping.
After the race we are planning on laying out at the pool and relaxing before heading to a DropKick Murphy's concert in downtown Indianapolis. Yes, I am going with Sean. I decided to be a good sport and join him and John. I am sure I will have fun I normally do at these types of things. I just tend to stick out in the crowd a little bit...hahah. As I am sure all of you guessed.
On Sunday Sean has band practice. While he is at band I am hoping to run. I haven't been running much lately due to my mouth issues. So hopefully I can run at least 10 miles on Sunday.....at least that is my goal. That evening we are going to Anderson to celebrate my mom's birthday!! We are planning on going out for dinner and then coming back and having fondue. I am really excited to try out my new fondue pot my friends got me several months ago.
On Saturday we had a surprise 50th birthday party of Loren (Sean's mom). We took Loren out to lunch at Scotty's around noon so we could get her out of the house for a little while. That way Don could start getting ready for the party and all the guest could arrive. Lunch lasted about two hours.....we had a good time catching up and discuss our wedding! Loren was extremely surprised when guest started showing up at her house. The party was a lot of fun! It is always fun getting to catch up with relatives that you don't get to see all the time.
Sunday was Father's Day so Sean and I spend some time visiting with our dads. On Sunday morning we went to Anderson and had breakfast with my Dad and Mom at IHOP. Then later that evening we meet his Dad, Lisa, James, Patrick, and Denise at Fireside Grill on the Southside.
Mary is heading to Indy tonight to stay with Sean and I. She has a second interview to be a counselor in the Indianapolis area! We are very excited for her and hope she gets offered a third interview and then the job! So please keep Mary in your thoughts tomorrow morning....however I am sure she will do great!
I am looking forward to Friday night. Sean and I are making a trip to the South side to have dinner with Lindsey, Andy, and Noah. I haven't seen them for about a month and I can't wait to catch up on life and play with little Noah! Noah's birthday was at the beginning of June and unfortunately I was unable to attend his first birthday party. So Sean and I bought Noah a birthday present that we are anxious to give him.
